The SAP implementation process is a step based one with each and every step designated to solve it as
follows:
Phase 1: Project Preparation – In this phase, you will be provided initial plan and preparation for your
a project as you the business suite suiting your requirement and the general entities will have been
decided to base your choice, feasibility and other metrics
Phase 2: Business Blueprint – The unanimously accepted sense of how the business is to be handled
meeting the company’s preferences by the SAP project is determined in this second phase. The resulting
Business Blueprint comprises an in detail data of the results gathered from the requirement gathering
routines. This Business Blueprint document represents the requirements of the company’s business
process. It would be a mutually agreed statement and the authoritative acceptance of the company
upon how the business is run using the SAP system.
Phase 3: Realization – In this phase with the pre-agreed Business Blueprint as the key all business
process requirements are implemented in the system. Configuration methodology offered in two
working packages – Baseline covering majority of the scope and Final Configuration taking care of the
remaining scope.
Phase 4: Final Preparation – The purpose of this phase is to finalize your readiness to go live and this is
accomplished by testing, end user training or acquainting, system management, cutover activities and
others. This is where the final preparation phase where critical open issues which often make their

phase.

production environment to live production operation.
